Orange welcomes the new changes in the telecommunication sphere of Armenia
On June 15, the amendment to the RA law on “Telecommunications”, allowing the implementation of the mobile number portability starting January 2014, entered into force. Mobile number portability will allow any Armenian mobile customer to change its operator without having to change its number.

With Orange, only good surprises: Orange offers 65 AMD/min rate in several countries for incoming calls in roaming
Starting from June 15 and until September 15, Orange offers 65 AMD/min rate for incoming calls when roaming in Georgia, Italy, France, Spain and Turkey. In these countries, Orange Zone special tariff – 250 AMD – is applied for other roaming services such as outgoing calls, SMS and GPRS. In order to benefit from these tariffs, customers just need to join the network of Orange partner operators, which are: Geocell in Georgia, Wind in Italy, Orange in France and Spain and Turkcell in Turkey.

The 50,000th international call of last week was received by Anush Hovhannisyan from Masis village: she will get a ticket to Russia
Today the name of the lucky customer who has received the 50,000th international call of the last week, in the period between June 3 and 9 was known. The lucky customer is Anush Hovhannisyan from Masis (Ararat region) who received a call from her friend Lala Balatyan, living in Russia. Today Anush received a certificate for an air ticket that he can use during the upcoming summer period.

Orange presented in Etchmiadzin its upgraded network capabilities, supporting up to 42.2 Mbps download speed
Today Orange Armenia CEO Mr. Francis Gelibter, on a visit in Etchmiadzin, presented the very high speed capabilities of the upgraded Orange 3G+ network to Etchmiadzin Mayor Mr. Karen Grigoryan. Etchmiadzin is the fourth city in Armenia after Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor where Orange introduced an HSPA network supporting up to 42Mbps speed.

For the first time ever two villages in the Syunik marz get access to a mobile telephony and internet service with Orange
Today Orange announced the launch of its services in two villages of the Syunik region: Geghanush and Gomaran, which are getting access to mobile technologies for the first time ever. Though the telecommunication sector is developed in Armenia and modern technologies are available to the inhabitants of most of the cities and villages, there are still a few villages which have no communication provided by any of the telecom operators yet. Geghanush and Gomaran having respectively 280 and 76 inhabitants, will have access starting from today not only to mobile voice services, but also to high-speed mobile internet thanks to Orange.

Computer centers opened in Jrarat and Spandarian villages of Shirak region with the support of Orange
Orange continues implementation of projects aimed at community development, by providing modern technologies the Armenian villages. Today two modern computer centers furnished with Orange broadband Internet were opened in two villages of Shirak region – Jrarat and Spandarian - with joint efforts of Orange and “Shen” charity organization.

Change in « General Terms and Conditions »
Orange informs that the General Terms and Conditions for public mobile communication services which are an integral part of the subscription agreement are going to be amended (point 13.1). As a result of the amendment, if the SIM card of “Let’s Talk” prepaid customers is not activated within 12 months from the signature of the subscription agreement, Orange will be entitled to unilaterally terminate the subscription agreement without a prior notice to the customer.

Cooperation between Orange and Zigzag launched in Dalma Garden Mall
Orange and Zigzag announced the start of cooperation between the two companies, thanks to which main Orange services such as sale of prepaid and postpaid voice services, sale of internet services, mobile payments etc. will be offered in the Zigzag Megastore located in Dalma Garden Mall. The wide portfolio of handsets and smartphones offered by Orange will also be available. As in Orange shops, these devices will be offered with a special price with one or two years commitment, as well as with guarantee and after-sales service.

The 50,000th international call of last week was received by Armenuhi Nazaryan from Surenavan village: she will get a ticket to Russia
Today the name of the lucky customer who has received the 50,000th international call of the last week, in the period between May 26 to June 2 was known. The lucky customer is Armenuhi Nazaryan from Surenavan village (Ararat region) who received a call from her son Emin Nazaryan, living in Russia. Today Armenuhi received a certificate for an air ticket that he can use during the upcoming summer period.
