WiFi internet in public transport
Starting from today 5 buses in Yerevan will be equipped with free wi-fi internet, in the frames of pilot project by Yerevan Municipality and Orange. Five buses on mainly students itineraries are now equipped with Orange MyFi 3G/wi-fi modems which create a mobile wi-fi zone and allow to connect simultaneously 5 devices: smartphones, netbooks, tablets etc.

Exclusive tariffs for roaming in Orange Zone, Georgia and Turkey
Orange offers the best rates for roaming for those Orange customers who plan to spend their vacation abroad. From June 15th to September 15th, the tariff for one minute incoming calls when roaming in Orange Zone, Georgia and Turkey will cost only 55 AMD.

Orange launches sale of new collection of accessories
In the scope of Orange Care project Orange has enriched its collection of phone and laptop/netbook accessories. From now on in 78 Orange shops the customers may buy not only telecommunication services, phones and notebooks, but also a full range of accessories – cases and bags for phones and notebooks, charging cables, Bluetooth devices and data storage cards, amplifiers and headsets, mice, webcams, as well as special accessories to use the phones in car or water.

Orange has extended its network on the roads of Armenia
Orange extended its network coverage on North and South national roads of Armenia, from Yerevan until the border of the country, aiming at ensuring excellent coverage along the roads for Armenians and tourists travelling accross the country, whose number will be multiplied during summer months.

Orange Armenia joins IPv6 World Day
Orange Armenia is joining the initiative of Internet Society organization to participate in and support IPv6 World Day on June 8, 2011. Starting from June 8, the official site of the company www.orangearmenia.am will be accessible both via IPv4 and IPv6 protocols (IP – Internet Protocol).

Orange offers more gigabytes and more speed for unlimited internet
Today Orange presented renewed tariff plans for Orange Internet. The changes concern the volume of traffic included in the tariff plans as well as the speed of unlimited internet. So, for all Internet Now and MyFi tariff plans symmetrically from 1 to 4 GB traffic has been added. Starting from June 1st customers of 6,000AMD monthly fee tariff plan will get 2 GB high-speed internet (+1GB), those of 9,000AMD – 6GB (+2GB), 11,000AMD – 11GB (+3GB) and customers of 20,000 AMD tariff plan will get 24 GB (+4GB).

David Vardanyan is the winner of Orange Innovation prize
Today Orange announced the name of the Orange Innovation contest 2011. David Vardanyan, one of the 4-year students of Yerevan State University, Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics has been selected as author of the best innovative idea. David had presented a work on electronic voting systems. As a prize, David will get the possibility to go to France, for a 6-months paid internship in one of Orange research and development laboratories and work on innovative projects.

The Cannes star is now known
Today Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO, presented to one of Orange Let’s Talk customers, twenty-years old Mane Mekiksetyan from Yerevan, the VIP package for two to attend Cannes Film Festival. The package was designed for one of Orange Kino fans, who would use the service to watch a movie with a friend between April 26 and May 8 and would throw the special part of the ticket in “Cannes” boxes. On May 10, the boxes from Yerevan and Gumri were opened and one ticket was randomly withdrawn in public.

Orange joins the Rock Aid Armenia project
Today the single of “WhoCares” ad-hoc band formed by “Deep Purple” lead singer Ian Gillan and “Black Sabbath” guitar player Tony Iommi, in the frame of “Rock Aid Armenia” project was presented. “Orange Armenia” joined the project during Yerevan presentation of the single, transferring EUR 15.000 to Gyumri N6 music school rebuilding fund.

From now on, weekends will be special at Orange
Starting from now all customers of Let’s Talk prepaid tariff plans, every time when recharging the account with 1000 and more AMD will receive freee on-net minutes to be used on weekedns, valid 31 days after the day of recharge. The bigger is the recharged amount, the more will be the free minutes. For example, if the customer topups the account with 1000 AMD, he will get 100 free on-net minutes, in case of 1500 AMD – 150 minutes, inc ase of 2000 AMD – 200 minutes and so on.
