The Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) and U.S. Peace Corps have jointly initiated the “SMS information hotline” program since June 21st. The program aims to respond to the issue of public awareness about HIV/AIDS and reduce the spread of misinformation about HIV/AIDS, stigma and discrimination.

Today Orange announced a special offer for those customers who get or receive international calls. Starting from now and until October 31, all voice customers will get 2 bonus points for all made and received international calls, instead of 1.

15.10.2011 Orange Book Prize second stage launched
Today the second stage of the Orange Book Prize 2011 – the public voting – was launched. Total of 130 works were received by Orange during the first stage. As results of the first stage, during which the Jury had to choose maximum four works in each category, the following works have been selected.

14.10.2011 Orange is the general sponsor of First Armenian International Congress on Telemedicine and e-Health "ARMTELEMED Road to the Future"
Today the First Armenian International Congress on Telemedicine and eHealth "ARMTELEMED: Road to the Future" started in Yerevan and will continue until October 16. The congress is organized by Association of Telemedicine (AATM), jointly with Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU) and Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), under the auspices of the International Society for Telemedicine and e-Health (ISfTeH) and the American Telemedicine Association (ATA). 13.10.2011 Armenian Goalball Championship 2011 held this year on the occasion of the World Sight Day with the support of Orange Foundation
On the initiative of the Armenian National Disability Sports Federation (ANDSF) and the Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) and by sponsorship and support of Orange Foundation, "MIKA Limited" Holding and the RA Health Ministry, Armenian Goalball1 Championship 2011 was held in "MIKA" gym today, on October 13. On its initiative the Armenian Eye Care Project has been celebrating the World Sight Day for already the 8th year in Armenia. All over the world this day is celebrated on the 2nd Thursday of October of each year and aims to draw attention of the public to the problems of people with eyesight disorders. This year for the first time in Armenia the World Sight Day was marked by a sport event.

06.10.2011 The Chairman and CEO of France Telecom-Orange to visit Armenia with the French Presidential delegation
Stéphane Richard, Chairman and CEO of France Telecom-Orange, is visiting Yerevan today as part of a delegation accompanying the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy.
During his stay, Stéphane Richard will also meet with the Orange Armenia team and will attend other meetings with Armenian officials.
On October 7, Stéphane Richard will welcome various officials to the Orange Flagship store, including members of the French-Armenian Business Club, Eric Besson, French Minister of Industry, Energy and Digital Economy, and Pierre Lellouche, State Secretary in charge of Foreign Trade.
